Herr Review of Cast Iron Cookware

Cast Iron Combination Cookware

Durability, easy maintenance, and even heat distribution make cast iron excellent cookware. If maintained,

lasts a hundred years. The iron leeched in small amounts when cooking acidic foods like tomatoes is actually healthy. All metallic cookware leeches metal except stainless steel. Cooking in metals other than cast iron, like aluminum, is not as healthy. Some studies have linked consumption of aluminum to Alzheimer’s disease.
From bread pans to skillets, there are cast iron cookware for everything.  Look through our suggestions for ideas for your kitchen.
We like Lodge Logic and their pre-seasoned cast iron cookware. It takes the fuss out new cast iron cookware. Maintenance is easy.  Clean with hot water, scrubbing particles away with a brush. Don’t use soap or metal scouring pads (if you must, use a mid soap). Dry right away. See the informative care instructions for Lodge Logic cast iron cookware on their website
